We re-checked every game page against the math that ships to Stake and found things we had wrong. Here's the list.

On 29 October we re-checked all twelve of our game pages against the math that ships to Stake and the rules inside each game. The games were fine. Several of our pages weren't. Here's what was wrong and what we changed.

Fang & Fur described a different game

The page said a free-spins battle planted sticky wilds and 2×–5× multipliers for the rest of the round. That isn't how the game works. A Territorial Clash fires whenever both factions' marks land, in the base game as well as in free spins. If the wolf wins, every reel showing a Wolf mark fills with Wolf marks and the board respins. If the bear wins, ×3, ×5 or ×10 goes on the multiplier, and in free spins it stays there. A truce in free spins adds spins and upgrades a reel.

The page also said two of the buy modes guaranteed a battle. They don't. They make clashes land more often, and no mode guarantees one.

Kaleido Keep was missing two modes

The page listed four modes. The game has six. The missing two, Opaline and Solstice, cost the same 1× as the standard game and change how a session plays. The page also said the multiplier doubles on every Turn, which is true only in the standard mode: Opaline climbs in half-steps, and Solstice quadruples, up to 1,024×.

Our "biggest max win" claims were wrong

The Abyss Collectors page called its 20,000× max win the highest of our games. It was, back when we had three. Nebula Raiders, at 25,000×, is higher, so Abyss is second. Fang & Fur's page called its 18,000× the second-highest. It's third.

We took out the probability figures

The Nebula Raiders and Pip's Piñata Plaza pages quoted how often something happens in the game. We removed both, and our game pages don't publish that kind of figure anymore. A frequency reads like a promise about tonight's session, and it isn't one.

Every mode now shows its own RTP

Our pages used to say every game returns 96.50% in every mode. Shuriken Shadows doesn't: its modes run from 96.46% to 96.59%. Every page now lists each mode with its own figure, measured from the lookup tables that ship to Stake, and the tool that builds the pages refuses a mode without one. Wyrmwind's page now lists the five modes the game actually has, and mode names everywhere match what you see in each game.

None of this changed a number in any game. It changed what we said about them, which is the part we're responsible for. If you spot something else we got wrong, tell us on X at @dadsofgambling.

Our twelfth game went live on Stake on 26 October 2026: a 6×5 ninja slot where Shuriken link into chains, and a chain that crosses the board starts the Siege.

Shuriken Shadows went live on Stake on 26 October 2026. It's our twelfth live game, and the first of ours whose modes don't all return the same RTP.

What it is

A 6×5 board on 15,625 ways: matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left pay, winning symbols tumble away, and new ones fall in. On top of that sit Shuriken, ninja stars that carry prize values.

The chain

A Shuriken on reel 1 starts a chain, and every Shuriken touching it side by side joins. Every value in the chain is added to the spin, on top of the ways wins. A chain that reaches reel 3, 4 or 5 also fires a bonus: two symbols turn Wild, or the Global Multiplier goes up by one. A chain that reaches reel 6 launches the Shuriken Siege or free spins.

The Siege and free spins

The Siege is a hold-and-win round. Shuriken lock in place, the rest of the board respins, and each new Shuriken refreshes the respins. Free spins come from Ninja Scrolls: three to six or more award 10 to 25 spins. The Global Multiplier holds for the whole round and has no cap, but it multiplies ways wins only, never chain prizes or the Siege total. The game's rules say so in as many words, and so do we.

The numbers

The base game returns 96.48%. The other four modes run from 96.46% to 96.59%, a spread of about a tenth of a percent, and Stake's reviewers asked us to print each one rather than round them all to 96.5%. The max win is 15,000× in every mode, and a round that reaches it ends there. It's a high-volatility game, so most sessions get nowhere near it.

The two games we launched between our August batch and Shuriken Shadows: Slime Lab in September 2026 and Titan Eruption in October 2026. Here's what each one does.

Between our August batch and Shuriken Shadows we launched two games, and this news page didn't exist yet to say so. Slime Lab went live on Stake in September 2026, and Titan Eruption in October 2026. Here's what each one is, from the people who built them.

Titan Eruption

A 5×3 hold-and-respin game on 15 fixed lines. Three or more Crater Eye scatters start the Eruption: Magma Orbs worth 1× to 100× your bet lock in place while the rest of the board respins. You get three respins, and any respin that locks a new orb resets the count to three.

The part we built the game around is the Chain Eruption. When a new orb locks, it can send a wave across every orb already on the board, multiplying each one it reaches by the same ×2, ×3 or ×5. The base game returns 96.50%, and so do its four other modes, from a 3× Magma Boost to a 350× Get Titan Rage. The max win is 15,000×, the same in every mode.

Titan Eruption: rules, modes and the honest bit →

Slime Lab

A 6×5 tumbling game on 15,625 ways, in the lab of Dr. Fizz, an axolotl scientist. When a Catalyst Vial lands, it takes the largest group of matching goo touching it and fuses the group into the next creature up the ladder. Fused slimes can fuse again.

Every fusion fills the Specimen Tube. It's a counter, not a multiplier: at each mark it vents MEGA GOO wilds onto the board. In free spins the tube holds for the whole round, and the ladder goes one rung higher, so the top creature fuses straight into MEGA GOO. There are six modes, all at 96.50%, including two 1× versions of the game with different shapes. The max win is 10,000×.
