The idea
Shuriken Shadows is a 6×5 ninja slot on 15,625 ways: matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left win, winning symbols tumble away, and new ones fall in. On top of that sits the thing the game is named for — glowing Shuriken stars that carry prize values and link into chains.
The Shuriken Chain
A Shuriken on reel 1 starts a chain, and every Shuriken touching it side by side joins it. Every value in the chain is added to the spin, on top of the ways wins. A single Shuriken on reel 1 is a chain on its own; Shuriken that don't connect back to reel 1 award nothing. The chain is scored once per spin, on the symbols that land, before any tumble.
How far it reaches matters. A chain that gets to reel 3, 4 or 5 also fires a bonus: either two symbols turn Wild, or the Global Multiplier rises by +1, with no cap. A chain that reaches reel 6 launches the Shuriken Siege or Free Spins.
The Shuriken Siege
The Siege is a hold-and-win round: Shuriken lock in place, the rest of the board respins, and every new Shuriken that lands refreshes the respins. When the respins run out or the grid fills, everything collected is awarded. It's self-contained — it resolves on the spot.
Free spins and the Global Multiplier
Three, four, five, or six or more Ninja Scrolls award 10, 15, 20 or 25 free spins, with improved chain chances throughout. Scrolls can retrigger the round up to five times; retriggers from chains aren't capped.
The Global Multiplier starts at ×1 and climbs by +1 with every multiplier bonus, with no maximum, and it holds through retriggers until the round ends. It multiplies ways wins only — never chain prizes, never the Siege total. That's a deliberate line, and the in-game rules draw it in as many words.

Connect Shuriken from reel 1 and the chain adds up every value it touches, and a chain that makes it all the way across launches the Shuriken Siege. Even a single Shuriken on reel 1 counts as a chain, so keep an eye on the left side of the board.

It depends on the mode, by about a tenth of a percent: 96.48% in the base game, 96.46% for Extra Chance, 96.59% for Shuriken Siege and Free Spins, and 96.58% for Super Free Spins. Those are the certified figures from the math Stake runs, and the game's own rules panel prints them too.
What is the max win on Shuriken Shadows?
15,000× your bet, the same cap in every mode. If a round's total reaches it, the round ends there and pays 15,000×.
How does a Shuriken Chain work?
A Shuriken on reel 1 starts it, and every Shuriken touching it side by side joins. All their prize values are added on top of that spin's ways wins. A lone Shuriken on reel 1 counts as a chain; Shuriken not connected to reel 1 award nothing. Reaching reel 3, 4 or 5 fires a bonus, and reaching reel 6 launches the Siege or Free Spins.
Does the Global Multiplier apply to chain prizes?
No. It starts at ×1, rises by +1 with each multiplier bonus with no cap, and multiplies ways wins only. Chain prizes and the Shuriken Siege total are never multiplied by it.
